LOS ANGELES – GM Performance Parts’ (GMPP) innovative E-ROD ’55 Chevy concept, powered by the new E-ROD emissions-legal crate engine package, is hitting the road March 15 for a three-month tour of California hot rod shops, GM Dealerships, cruise events, car shows and Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) stations. The tour provides California enthusiasts a close-up look at the groundbreaking system, along with the opportunity to learn more about integrating it in their project vehicles. The E-ROD crate engine package includes a complete LS3 engine rated at 430 horsepower, emissions equipment – including catalytic converters – and supporting components that enable your performance project car to pass California’s stringent emissions tests.
